I’m Nigel Taylor, owner and operator of Taylor-made detailing.

My passion for motorcycles and keeping them in the best possible condition started at a young age, as bikes are in my dna.

My father and uncle ran John Taylor Motorcycles in Fenton Stoke-on-Trent from the 70’s to mid 90’s before selling up, it was here I spent many school holidays working earning a bit of pocket money and buying my first trials bike.

My Dad and myself stripped it completely and totally refurbished it, in the end it looked like new. Before moving onto a newer bike, the chap who I bought my first bike off had it back off me and was amazed it was the same bike!! From here I qualified as a motorcycle technician to a nvq level 3 with Fowler’s motorcycles, and then onto another motorcycle dealership in Stafford, which I worked for several years.

In recent times I had gone into partnership with my brother setting up Taylor brother motorcycles in Stafford. The partnership didn’t work for us but the business is thriving still, and from here I set up Taylor-made Detailing. As I had added to Vaeting and Detailing the business back then and was suprised how many people were interested.

Gradually the customer base is growing nicely and reviews have been brilliant.

Initially I set out to only do Motorcycles, but more and more customers have wanted cars doing so I now offer my services to both, Although bikes are my forte and this is what I specialise in.

Having grown up around bikes I’m comfortable removing fairing panels as and when required for the full deep clean and treatments.

I’m also an Autobrite Direct accredited detailer, where I’ve been assessed on my standards and preparation to safely use their products and coatings.

My services are mobile aslong as perspective customers have an outdoor tap and electrical power point.

Other than that I work from my workshop at my home address and is by appointment only.
