From basic maintenance valets to keep the car clean and tidy, it’s a basic no frills package. However basic doesn’t mean quick...a basic wash can take around an hour plus, on every wash a variety of prewash products are used along with a 3 bucket method. 1 bucket dedicated to wheels and 2 dedicated to the bodywork.
One is a a shampoo bucket and one for rinsing.
Super soft drying towels are used on the drying stages to reduce the risk or marring the paint.
The packages such as a gold valet is basically how you would like to have a car looking when you buy it. Clean, shiney And protected. Protection is often overlooked, a quality sealant is always worth while using to reduce the uv damage, salt damage, bug splatter damage, etc.
Or even a high quality wax either a paste wax or a cream wax. I have different options from synthetic based waxes to carnauba waxes, offering durability from 6 weeks to 4 months. Sealents generally last longer with the correct prep and it’s possible to see a durability of 10 months.
Obviously the highest durability will come from ceramic coatings. The same as I can apply these coatings to Motorcycles I can apply them to cars. Again the paint needs a full decontamination and preparation so it’s at the best possible standard for a coating to go down onto.
You could apply them to paint without prior correction but why would you? It’s always best to have the paint looking the best before shelling out on an expensive coating.
Not to mention having the correct preparation from an accredited detailer will without doubt give you the optimum performance from products used.

Yes there’s loads of £5 car washes around and I’m always getting the “I can get it done cheaper” comments, I for one can not clean a car in 10 mins!! A basic wash can take any hour easily. A top end detail including paint corrections and ceramic coating can take 3-4 days.
